Lakeside Dining at Marche Bacchus

If you’re looking for protection from Vegas weather – be it either the heat or the cold – then make sure to check out Marche Bacchus. Though the restaurant has always been known for it’s spot-on French bistro fare and it’s lakeside views, it now can boast covered outdoor dining to protect you from any of the seasons you may not like. Check out our quick highlight at the Las Vegas Weekly.

What I wasn’t able to mention is that all bottles bought in the exemplary retail section of the restaurant have a minuscule $10 corkage fee. Also, be sure to checkout the pan-roasted trout off the lunch menu or the seared tuna with a phenomenal edamame hummus off the dinner menu. The protected patio now means we can enjoy Marche’s views year round!

Meat-on-Meat Action!

I unfortunately cannot take credit for the headline – this genius was courtesy of my editor at the Weekly (thanks Spencer!) but the rest of it was all me. Be sure to check out what they’re doing at Rambo’s Kitchen where almost everything is housemade. Read about it in my article from the Las Vegas Weekly.

I comment on the fries there in the article and they’re some of the best I’ve had in town – double fried goodness at it’s best. The fried mushrooms are also standouts. The amazing thing about them is they’re not frozen but rather breaded to order. You can taste the freshness with the snap of the mushroom within the delicious breading. So good!

The menu is all over the place but it’s a fun ride. Whatever your pleasure, you’re sure to find something you like on the menu. Be sure to check them out.

Sweet Home Chicago – Harold’s arrives in Las Vegas

Check out our review of Harold’s Chicken and Fish in the latest copy of the Las Vegas Weekly! We do love the chicken and fish there, while we’re also fans of the pizza puffs that remind us of Geno’s Pizza Rolls. The wait at Harold’s can be somewhat long so be sure to order ahead – they’ll be glad to have your order waiting when you arrive!
